Hi there!
My name is Ilona, and I am a professional housewife. I say professional, as otherwise I don’t get taken seriously by some people in modern society. My days are structured around a home cleaning schedule, interspersed with the time I take to explore my interests.
This website is a record of my creative work, as well as a documentation of my learning process. I use a variety of credible sources to inform my work. The information here is intended to be a helpful guide to anyone looking for inspiration, ideas and motivation.
About the website content
The photographs are my own unless otherwise stated.
The illustrations are my own unless otherwise stated. I generally use a digital collage technique; remixing and splicing images from old books and then refining them.
The sewing pattern drafting diagrams are my own digital drawings. They are not to scale and are for visual aid purposes only. Please draft your own patterns using your own set of measurements, we all have different bodies and therefore will have different proportions.
If you would like to use any images or illustrations from this website, please credit me and link back to this website. Any work produced from my images should also be published under the Creative Commons Attribution – ShareAlike license, details below.

This license lets others remix, tweak, and build upon your work even for commercial purposes, as long as they credit you and license their new creations under the identical terms. This license is often compared to “copyleft” free and open source software licenses. All new works based on yours will carry the same license, so any derivatives will also allow commercial use.
