Ingredients as a measure:
Any berry – 500g
Icing sugar – 60g
Arrow root powder – 12g
Ingredients as a proportion:
Any berry = constant
Icing sugar = Berries / 8
Instructions:
Prepare the berries and wash them. Put in a pan and sprinkle with the icing sugar. Leave for as long as it takes to give juice. Mush with blender, and sieve if necessary. Bring to boil, add arrow root, take off boil and stir till thickened.
Preserve in portions in the freezer.
